History
1.1. In our existence, LBO has implemented welt Hunger Hilfe project Donated by GIZ in FSL sector and involved in number of projects/programs both voluntarily and without grant in peace building and community reconciliation in former Yei River state September 2019 and train Agro-Business farmers along River Kenite, Torit Municipality on (IPM) Integrated pest management on organic pesticide and manure in Dec 2021. However we have participated in varies assessment with the international and UN-Agencies as the Risk assessment conducted in 2019 in Youdu Morobo County Greater Yei led by UN OCHA LBO has participated and UNHCR assessment in magwi county October 2021 in pagari, pajok, Obbo, mugali, numile, moli, as Quick response assessment for the returnees to in many sectors.
Operating Environment
LBO operates in an environment influenced by external and internal socio-economic, legal and political factors that either directly or indirectly effect its operations. The political environment remains very fluid with insecurity along road, inter-communal conflicts, and constant security clearance for activities. Economically, the market continuous to be unpredictable with prices increasing very often. COVID 19 has created more hindrance in the normal design of the programs now taking to mostly online programming which is very expensive in terms of sustainable internet. All these have created an environment of increased demands by beneficiaries and challenges which has to be addressed. The Plan has utilized the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis tool, the Risk analysis, problem and root causes analysis in assessing the operating environment with sole purpose designing appropriate strategies. The success of this strategic plan will to a great extent depend on how LBO will adjust to the changing environment and build on its strengths, exploits the existing opportunities, minimizes weaknesses and manages threats.
Purpose
The purpose of this organization shall be non-profitable making and non-political organization with the sole purpose of supporting development, aid projects and the improvement of the social and economic needs of all people of South Sudan. In addition, the organization shall channel its support through and work in collaboration or partnership with others.
Vision
Going forward for the sustainable development and self-reliant of the communities for socio economically empowerment to meet their basic needs and free of all forms of impunity and violence.
Mission
To build capacities empowerment of communities, And to create a peaceful co-existent, strengthen and institutions to eradicate absolute poverty and reduce all forms of injustice and violence and alleviation of Hunger for sustainable development
Aim
We aim at sustainability of development and sensitizes self-reliant, self-esteemed and fountain able in knowledge at the coming future.
